Passing target: 80% (24/30)
You are in the center lane of a freeway. Your exit ramp starts now on the right, but a car in the right lane blocks your move. What should you do?
A reaches an exit from the middle freeway lane while B occupies the right lane beside it. No late turn or reverse route is drawn.
Correct answer: Keep going to the next exit, and find a safe route back from there
Why
Freeway traffic moves fast, and drivers do not expect sudden stops, backing or U-turns. It is against the law to back up or turn around on a freeway, except for some emergency and road work vehicles on duty. Know your exit before you start, and move toward it early so that you do not need a last-second move.
