Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
At a four-way stop, you come to a complete stop first. A second later, a car on your right stops at its sign. Who should go first?
A has stopped at the west STOP sign; B is stopped on A’s right. The card states that A arrived first.
Correct answer: You, because you were the first driver to reach the intersection and stop
Why
At an all-way stop, every driver must stop completely, and the first to arrive may go first. Before you move, still yield to any pedestrian or vehicle that is already in the intersection. If two drivers stop at about the same time, section 304.351, RSMo, has the driver on the left yield to the driver on the right.
