Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
You are behind a funeral procession that is led by a funeral escort vehicle, and you are in a hurry. May you fall in at the end of the procession so that you can follow it through intersections?
Correct answer: No. A driver may not join a procession to gain its right-of-way.
Why
Montana gives vehicles in a funeral procession the right-of-way once the lead vehicle has lawfully entered an intersection. Other drivers must yield and may not drive between the vehicles while the procession is moving. On a multi-lane road, do not pass a procession on its right unless it is in the far left lane.
