Passing target: 80% (24/30)
At night, the headlights of an oncoming car make it hard for you to see. Where should you look until the car has passed?
A meets the bright headlights of an approaching vehicle at night on a two-way road.
Correct answer: At the right edge of the road, while you see the car from the corner of your eye
Why
Glare from oncoming headlights can leave you briefly unable to see well, and some drivers have more trouble with it than others; if you do, drive at night only when you need to. If an oncoming driver flicks the headlights at you, check that your own high beams are off. Do not wear sunglasses or tinted lenses at night, because they cut the light you need to see.
