Your car has an air bag in the steering wheel. Where does the manual suggest you place your hands?
Correct answer: On opposite sides of the wheel, at about 8 and 4 o'clock
Why
This grip lets you make most turns on high-speed roads without taking your hands off the wheel. For corners, use hand-over-hand steering, and after the turn straighten the wheel with your hands instead of letting it slip through your fingers. The same grip gives you the best control when you must steer quickly to avoid a crash.
