Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
You reach a crossroads that has no signs or signals. A car on the cross street, to your right, arrives at about the same time as you. What should you do?
A and B approach an uncontrolled crossroads from perpendicular streets. B is on A’s right.
Correct answer: Yield, and let the car on your right go through first.
Why
The law says who must yield; it does not give anyone the right to force a way through. Slow down as you approach an uncontrolled intersection, be ready to brake, and look both ways. Even when the other driver should yield to you, be prepared to stop to avoid a crash.
