Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
You move to Nebraska from Iowa and hold a valid Iowa driver's license. How long do you have to get a Nebraska license?
Correct answer: 30 days after you become a resident
Why
Nebraska law lets a newcomer drive on an out-of-state license for no more than 30 days of continuous residence. A new resident age 18 or older who surrenders a valid out-of-state license takes a vision test, and licensing staff may also give a drive test. Bring the old license, because the written test is required if you cannot surrender it or if it has expired.
