Vehicle Safety, Documents & TowingStandalone practice
You are driving alone to a store a few blocks away. You will use only city streets and will not go faster than 25 mph. What does Nevada law say about your safety belt?
Correct answer: You must wear it, because the rule also covers short, slow trips on city streets.
Why
A safety belt is your best protection against injury or death in a crash. Even a minor crash or a sudden stop can seriously injure a person who is not buckled up. Under NRS 484D.495, the driver and every passenger who is 6 or older, or 57 inches or taller, must wear an available belt in the front or back seat.
