Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
Your turn signal lamps stop working, and you need to turn right at the next corner. Which hand signal should you give?
Blue A approaches its next right turn after the turn-signal lamps fail. No arm pose is displayed before answering.
Correct answer: Left arm out of the window, bent up at the elbow, with the hand pointing up
Why
Nevada law allows hand and arm signals in place of signal lamps, and all of them use the left arm. Give the signal well before the turn so drivers behind you have time to react, and use both hands to steer during the turn. Have the broken lamps repaired soon.
