Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
You and another driver come to a full stop at a four-way stop at the same moment. The other car is on your right, and you both plan to go straight. Who goes first?
A and B wait at perpendicular approaches to a four-way stop. They stopped at the same time, and B is on A’s right; both intend to continue straight.
Correct answer: The other driver goes first, since you must yield to the car on your right.
Why
At a multi-way stop you must also yield to any vehicle that was already stopped at the intersection before you arrived. The yield-to-the-right rule settles ties between drivers who arrive together. Before you go, check again for pedestrians in the crosswalks.

At a marked crosswalk with no traffic signal, a pedestrian has just stepped off the far curb into the oncoming lane and is walking toward your side. What must you do?You approach a stop sign. A white stop line is painted across your lane, before the crosswalk. Where must you make your complete stop?
