You pass this sign. No lower speed limit is posted, and you do not see any workers yet. What does New York require of you?

Correct answer: Drive at a reduced speed, and obey any flag person you meet
Why
When a work-area speed limit is posted, it can be as low as 25 mph, and you must obey it. Rear-end crashes are the most common crash in work zones, so keep at least two seconds of space behind the vehicle ahead. Obey the signs until you pass the one that shows the work zone has ended.
