The handbook tells you to park on the right side of the road. On which kind of street may you also park along the left curb?
Two comparison panels show blue A traveling right. On the one-way street, silver B travels the same way in the other lane; on the two-way street, silver C travels left in the opposing lane. No curb is selected in the question image.
Correct answer: A one-way street, where all traffic moves in the same direction
Why
When you park on the right, your car faces the same direction as the traffic beside it, so you do not cross oncoming traffic to reach the space or to leave it. On a one-way street every lane moves in one direction, so the left curb does not put you against traffic. For the same reason, the handbook rule to give a left-turn signal when you leave a parallel space does not apply at the left curb of a one-way street.
