Passing target: 80% (24/30)
You drive in the left lane of a street with two lanes in your direction. You plan to turn right at the next corner. How should you make the turn?
A travels in the left of two lanes going in the same direction and plans to turn right at the next intersection. The right lane is clear, and the question has no selected path.
Correct answer: Signal, move into the right lane before the corner, and turn close to the right curb.
Why
A tight right turn keeps you out of the path of other vehicles and makes your plan clear to them. Before you turn, check your blind spot for a bicyclist next to you, and yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk. Where a lane is marked for right turns, you must use that lane to turn right.
