Passing target: 83.3% (15/18)
You drive on a one-way street with three lanes. You will turn left onto a two-way street that has two lanes in each direction. How should you make the turn?
Three lanes run rightward on the one-way approach. The intersecting two-way street has two lanes in each direction, with arrows and double yellow lines showing the split. No route selects a turning lane.
Correct answer: Start in the left lane and turn into the lane nearest the center line.
Why
On a two-lane, two-way road, begin a left turn from as close to the center line as possible. Do not start a left turn until you can see that all the lanes that you must cross are clear. When you turn onto a road with more than one lane in your direction, change lanes only after you complete the turn safely.
