Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
On a Tuesday morning, an applicant fails the Pennsylvania knowledge test at a Driver License Center. Wednesday is a normal business day. When is the earliest time that the applicant can take the knowledge test again?
Correct answer: On Wednesday, the following business day.
Why
PennDOT allows one knowledge-test attempt on any day, at any Driver License Center. After a failure, keep the application and consent form that the examiner returns, and bring them to the retest. Use the time to study the parts of the manual that gave you trouble. Do not mix this rule up with the road test, where an applicant under 18 who fails must wait 7 days.
