Parking ReversingStandalone practice
You have checked around a passenger car and can see through its rear window. As you reverse, how should you keep the manoeuvre safe?
Correct answer: Move slowly, look back, keep checking the sides and stop if needed
Why
Reverse only when it can be done safely and without unduly interfering with traffic. Move slowly, look through the rear window and check both sides as the car moves. Use mirrors and any camera as aids, not substitutes for checking the whole area. If you lose a clear view or someone enters the path, stop and reassess before continuing. Check for pedestrians before crossing a sidewalk when reversing from a driveway.
