Turns Lanes PassingStandalone practice
On a two-way road wide enough for one line of traffic in each direction, you are meeting an oncoming vehicle. How should you position your vehicle?
Correct answer: Keep right, giving the other vehicle at least half the roadway
Why
Keep to the right and give the approaching vehicle at least half the roadway as nearly as possible. A missing centre line does not remove this duty. Maintain safe clearance and reduce speed on a narrow road; stop if necessary rather than squeeze through an unsafe gap. An obstruction may require you to wait for the opposing vehicle to clear before proceeding safely.
