Passing target: 75% in each of the three areas
Two vehicles reach an all-way stop together from adjacent roads and both stop. Their intended paths conflict, and the other vehicle is on your right. What should you do?
Blue A approaches from the left and silver B from below at a four-way intersection. Stop controls and the Quebec four-direction supplementary face are shown; no priority path appears.
Correct answer: Let the vehicle on your right go first, then proceed when it is safe.
Why
Both drivers must first make a complete stop. At an all-way stop, a vehicle that reached the intersection earlier takes priority. When these two adjacent vehicles arrive together and their paths conflict, yield to the vehicle on your right. Confirm that it has cleared your path and check for pedestrians and other traffic before entering; never force your way through because you expect another driver to yield.
