Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
You have a green traffic light and want to turn. A pedestrian and a cyclist are lawfully crossing the road you will enter. What must you do?
Correct answer: Yield to both and turn only when you can do so safely.
Why
A green light permits a movement only when it can be made safely. When turning, yield to pedestrians and cyclists crossing or travelling alongside the road you are about to cross or enter. Check the full path, including the side nearest the turn. Wait until you can turn without forcing either user to stop or change course.
