Your light is green, but there is not enough space beyond the intersection for your vehicle to clear it. What should you do?
A blue car faces a green light while two cars occupy the road beyond the intersection.
Correct answer: Wait before entering until there is enough room to clear the intersection.
Why
Do not enter an intersection when traffic ahead leaves too little space for your whole vehicle beyond it, even if your light is green. Wait before the intersection and keep any stop line and pedestrian crossing clear. Recheck the signal, other road users and the available exit space before moving. A green light does not reserve room in the queue for you.
