Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
Signs allow a left turn from two adjacent lanes. As you turn, how should you track your lane?
Correct answer: Stay in your lane and turn into the matching lane
Why
A turn from two lanes is permitted where signs authorize it. Choose an authorized lane before the turn, stay within its path while turning, and enter the corresponding lane on the receiving road. Do not sweep across or straddle the adjacent turning lane. If you need another lane afterwards, complete the turn first and make a separate safe, signalled lane change.
