Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
Before using an opposing lane to pass on a two-way road, what must you be able to confirm?
Correct answer: That passing is allowed and you can see enough clear road
Why
Before entering an opposing lane, check the signs and markings, traffic behind you and the full road ahead. You must have sufficient visibility and enough clear distance to pass and return to the right without danger. Do not start if a vehicle behind has already signalled or begun passing you. If you cannot establish those conditions, stay behind and wait.
