Passing target: 75% in each of the three areas
As you approach the exit you intend to use in a roundabout, how should you signal?
A blue car circulates near a roundabout exit; the exit lane continues around a splitter island.
Correct answer: Signal right and check the exit path for pedestrians.
Why
Use your right turn signal as you approach the exit you intend to take. Stay in the lane required by the signs and markings, and watch for pedestrians at the exit crossing. If a pedestrian is crossing or clearly intends to cross there, stop and yield. Signalling your exit helps others understand your movement, but it does not give you priority over crossing users.
