Passing target: 80% (32/40)
You come to a single-lane roundabout. A car that is already in the circle is coming around from your left toward your entry point. What should you do?
A approaches a single-lane roundabout while silver B circulates from A’s left toward the entry. Road arrows show its normal direction.
Correct answer: Yield to that car, then enter in a gap and travel counterclockwise
Why
At a roundabout, traffic moves counterclockwise around a central island, and drivers who enter yield to vehicles already in the circle, as at a yield sign. Inside, drive slowly (speeds are usually posted at 15 to 25 mph) and do not pass other vehicles. Signal right before your exit and watch for pedestrians in the crosswalk as you leave.
