Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
On a highway you see this yellow diamond sign. It shows an upward arrow, and a short branch joins the arrow from the lower right. You are in the right lane. What does the sign warn you about?

Correct answer: Traffic will merge into your lane from the right; adjust your speed or move left.
Why
Drivers already on the highway can help by moving one lane left after a mirror check, or by adjusting speed. The entering driver must still yield to traffic on the highway. The LANE ADDED sign looks similar, but there the entering lane continues as a new lane, so do not move right into it.
