Jordan applied for a Texas driver license and has now failed the driving exam three times on that application. What must Jordan do before taking the driving exam again?
Correct answer: Submit a new application and pay the required fee again.
Why
Texas law gives an applicant three tries at each exam for each application and fee. DPS also holds an application for only 90 days, so the application ends at 90 days or after the third failed exam, whichever comes first. Use the time before the next application to practice the skills that caused the failed tries, such as backing, lane position and signals.
