Four teens apply for a Texas learner license. Each one has passed the vision and knowledge exams and meets the other first-time applicant rules. Who can get the learner license?
Correct answer: Omar, 15, who has finished the classroom part of a driver education course
Why
The learner license lets a teen practice with a qualified adult in the seat beside them, and it expires on the 18th birthday. Applicants under 18 also need proof of school enrollment and attendance (the VOE form) or a diploma. A person who is 18 or older gets a Class C license with the same practice restrictions instead of a learner license card.
