Rosa, 20, has a Class C license and just bought a two-wheeled motorcycle. What must she do before she rides it on public roads?
Correct answer: Complete a state-approved motorcycle training course and add Class M to her license
Why
In Texas, each license class covers certain vehicles, and Class A, B and C licenses do not cover motorcycles. Riding a motorcycle takes balance and skills that a car driver does not practice, so the state requires training first. Because Rosa is over 18, the course also replaces the Class M driving exam if her Texas license is valid and has no restrictions.
