Correct answer: C. A road crosses yours ahead, and traffic may enter.
Why
This yellow diamond with a black cross warns of a crossroad ahead. Vehicles may turn onto your road or cross it. Slow down, look left and right, and be ready to stop if a vehicle enters. A T symbol is different: it warns that your road ends at another road. A symbol with a single side road shows a road that joins from one side.
Why the other answers are not correct
- A. A railroad crossing warning is a round yellow sign with an X and the letters RR.
- B. A hospital sign is a blue square with a white H; this yellow diamond warns of a road layout.
- D. A T-shaped symbol warns that your road ends; this symbol shows your road going on through the intersection.
