Correct answer: A. The road ahead curves to the left.
Why
This yellow diamond is a Curve sign. It is placed before a curve, and the arrow shows which way the road bends. Slow down before the curve and stay in your lane. A Turn sign looks similar, but its arrow bends at a sharp angle for a tighter bend. A Reverse Curve sign shows a curve one way and then the other.
Why the other answers are not correct
- B. A side road is shown by a Side Road sign with a straight bar and a shorter side bar, not by one curved arrow.
- C. A curve one way and then the other way is shown by a Reverse Curve sign with an S-shaped arrow.
- D. This yellow warning sign shows the shape of the road; it does not order a turn at an intersection.
