Show the answer and the explanationHide the answer
Correct answer: B. Gas is available at a place near this road.
Why
Blue signs with white symbols tell you about motorist services. The fuel-pump symbol means gas is available nearby, often on a crossroad. An arrow plaque may show which way to go. The sign gives information only; you do not have to stop. A similar blue sign with EV and a plug on the pump marks electric vehicle charging, not gas.
Why the other answers are not correct
- A. Wrong: electric vehicle charging has its own blue sign, with the letters EV and a plug on the pump.
- C. Wrong: blue service signs give information to motorists; they do not set rules for vehicles that carry fuel.
- D. Wrong: the fuel-pump symbol shows gas; it does not show a repair service.
