Correct answer: C. Gas, food, lodging and other services are off this exit.
Why
Blue signs with white symbols show services for motorists. On a freeway, this sign stands before the exit that leads to the services it shows: here gas, food, lodging, a phone, a hospital and camping. The exit number tells you which exit to take. These signs are used where you can get back on the freeway in the same direction. Green signs give directions and distances, and REST AREA signs show a stop beside the freeway.
Why the other answers are not correct
- A. Rest area signs show the words REST AREA; this sign shows services that you reach by the exit.
- B. Blue service signs give information and do not make you exit; a yellow ALL TRAFFIC MUST EXIT sign warns of that.
- D. Green guide signs show the places that an exit leads to; this blue sign shows services.
