Correct answer: D. Slow down and watch for children near the road ahead.
Why
This yellow warning sign tells you that a children's playground is next to the road ahead. Children can run into the street without looking, for example after a ball. Slow down, be ready to brake, and watch both sides of the road. The School sign is different: it has five sides and shows two children who walk, and it warns of a school or a school crossing.
Why the other answers are not correct
- A. Wrong: a school crossing is shown by a five-sided school sign, not by this playground symbol.
- B. Wrong: a school bus stop ahead is shown by a sign with a school bus symbol.
- C. Wrong: this is a warning sign about the road ahead, not a guide sign that gives directions.
