Correct answer: B. Your road ends ahead; you will need to turn left or right.
Why
This sign warns of a T intersection ahead: the road you are on ends at a road that crosses in front of you. Slow down early and get ready to turn left or right. A STOP or YIELD sign may control your road there. A cross road sign shows a plus shape, and you can go straight through. A side road sign shows a short road on one side, and your road goes on.
Why the other answers are not correct
- A. Wrong: a cross road is shown with a plus-shaped symbol; here your road does not go on.
- C. Wrong: the T symbol shows that your road meets a road that crosses in front of you; a street with no way through is marked with a DEAD END sign.
- D. Wrong: a lane that ends is shown on a different warning sign; this one shows the shape of an intersection.
