Correct answer: C. Trucks may enter or cross the road ahead.
Why
This yellow diamond warns that trucks may enter or cross the road ahead, for example from a quarry, plant or side road where you might not expect them. Slow down, watch for trucks that pull out, and be ready to stop. Trucks start slowly and need a lot of room. A truck on a downward slope is a different sign: it warns of a steep hill.
Why the other answers are not correct
- A. Wrong: a steep downgrade is shown by a truck on a slope, not a truck on level ground.
- B. Wrong: weigh stations are shown on guide signs with words; this warning sign does not give an order.
- D. Wrong: a lane rule for trucks is given on a white regulatory sign with words, not on a yellow warning diamond.
