- DA one-lane bridge that both directions take turns to use.
Show the answer and the explanationHide the answer
Correct answer: A. A two-way road with oncoming traffic beside your lane.
Why
This sign warns that the road ahead carries traffic in both directions. On a divided highway, it tells you that the median ends and oncoming vehicles will use the lane next to yours. Keep right, stay in your lane, and pass only where it is legal and safe. The Divided Highway Ends sign also has two arrows, but it shows a median shape that ends; this sign shows only the two arrows.
Why the other answers are not correct
- B. Wrong: the two arrows point in opposite directions, so the traffic moves both ways.
- C. Wrong: a median that begins is shown by the Divided Highway sign, not by two plain arrows.
- D. Wrong: a bridge with one lane has its own ONE LANE BRIDGE warning sign.
