Passing target: 80% (40/50)
During your driving skills test, you come to a stop sign on a quiet street. No other vehicle or pedestrian is near. You slow to about 3 mph and roll through without a full stop. What is the result?
Correct answer: You fail the test automatically, even if the rest of your driving is good
Why
Other errors that cause automatic failure include not yielding to pedestrians or other road users, an avoidable crash or contact with an object, driving over a curb or sidewalk without need, driving too fast or too slow, and any act that makes the examiner take control of the vehicle. Practice complete stops until they are a habit: stop fully, then look before you go. After a failed test, you are expected to practice, and you may take only one skills test in a day.
