You wait at a stop sign to pull out onto a main road. An approaching motorcycle has its right turn signal on, as if it will turn into your street. What should you do?
Blue A waits at a STOP sign on a side road. A motorcycle B approaches along the main road, and the card states that its right signal is on.
Correct answer: Wait until you are sure that the rider is turning before you pull out
Why
Drivers who pull out in front of motorcycles often misjudge their speed or do not see them. Riders may also slow down with the throttle, so the brake light does not come on. Look twice, and give motorcycles the same space and right-of-way as other vehicles.
