Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
Your turn signals do not work, and you plan to turn right at the next corner. Which hand signal do you give?
Blue A approaches its next right-hand corner. The card states that its turn-signal lamps do not work; no arm pose is displayed.
Correct answer: Put your left arm out and bend it so that your hand points up
Why
All hand signals come from the driver's window: straight out for a left turn, up for a right turn and down to stop or slow. Give the signal early, at least 100 feet before the turn, so that drivers behind you can react. Repair the lights soon, because hand signals are hard to see at night.
