On an icy road, a ground blizzard of blowing snow makes you lose track of where you are on the road. What does the manual tell you to do?
Correct answer: Keep moving slowly, and look out the downwind side for a road line
Why
In a ground blizzard, wind blows snow across an icy road, so you get poor grip and poor visibility together. Slow down but keep moving, and make every steering, braking and speed change slowly. If you are not sure where you are on the road, roll down the window and look out the side that faces away from the wind, where you can more easily see the center stripe or the road edge. Be patient, and stay in line behind a vehicle that spins out; do not try to pass it.
