What should a driver do before entering a roundabout?
A two-lane roundabout. Blue A approaches from the left. Silver B is already circulating. YIELD signs control the entries.
Correct answer: Slow down and yield to pedestrians and circulating traffic.
Why
Reduce speed before entering, choose the proper lane in advance and yield to pedestrians and vehicles already circulating. Enter only when there is a safe gap. Follow the counterclockwise direction and stay in the appropriate lane through the roundabout; do not stop inside to choose an exit.
