Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
After stopping at a stop sign, when may a driver enter the intersection?
Correct answer: After yielding to cross traffic and pedestrians, when it is safe.
Why
After the required full stop, yield to vehicles already in the intersection or approaching closely enough to be an immediate hazard. Yield to a pedestrian legally crossing the roadway you enter. Proceed only when the movement can be completed safely; the stop alone does not give you immediate priority.
