You are waiting to turn left. An oncoming motorcycle is approaching, and it seems far away and slow. What should you keep in mind?
A faces left with its left turn signal on and waits to turn left. A motorcycle approaches straight from the opposite direction.
Correct answer: Its speed and distance are hard to judge, so let it pass unless you are sure
Why
A left turn across a motorcycle's path leaves the rider very little room to escape. Because a motorcycle's narrow outline makes its speed and distance hard to judge, drivers often think they have more time than they do. Look twice, and if you are not sure of the gap, wait for the motorcycle to pass.
