Passing target: 80% (20/25)
Your traffic light turns green, but a funeral procession with flashing lights is still crossing your path through the intersection, against its red light. What should you do?
A has a green signal, but two cars of a funeral procession continue across its path. Their amber warning lights are shown.
Correct answer: Wait and let the entire procession pass, even though your light is green
Why
Under RSMo 194.503, once the lead vehicle lawfully enters an intersection, the rest of an organized funeral procession may follow it through, even on a red light, and other drivers and pedestrians must yield. Procession vehicles use flashing emergency lights so that you can recognize them. The procession itself must still yield to emergency vehicles and obey a law enforcement officer's directions.
