Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
You drive on a residential street in town and plan to turn right at the next corner. At a minimum, for how far before the turn must your signal be on?
A approaches a right turn on a residential street. The approach and corner are visible without an answer distance.
Correct answer: The last 100 feet
Why
Do not signal too early: if a driveway or side street lies between you and your turn, wait until you have passed it. After the turn, make sure that the signal has turned off. Signal every time you turn or change lanes, even when you see no one, because it is easy to miss another road user.
