You are driving in a single-lane roundabout and pass the exit you wanted before you can take it. What should you do?
A has just passed its intended exit in a single-lane roundabout. The circle continues ahead around the center island.
Correct answer: Keep going around the circle, then signal right as you approach your exit.
Why
A roundabout lets you fix a wrong turn without a risky move: you simply go around one more time. Nebraska law says a vehicle on the circular roadway must stay to the right of the center island, which keeps all traffic moving counterclockwise. Stopping, backing or cutting across the center creates the conflicts that the roundabout design is meant to remove.
