Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
Chris has failed the Class O drive test three times in a row. What must Chris do before reapplying for the license?
Correct answer: Pass approved driver training, or hold an LPD for 90 days
Why
The rule applies to Class O and Class M applicants, and the state may issue an LPD so the applicant can practice legally with a licensed driver age 21 or older. Use the time to practice the skills on the drive test: starting and stopping, turns, lane use, signs and signals, speed control, right-of-way, parking and backing. If the DMV denies a document, it gives a Return for Services form that explains why.
