Passing target: 80% (20/25)
On a highway with two lanes in your direction, you have driven next to another car for some time. What should you do?
A and B travel beside each other in the two lanes going their way on a highway. A is in the right lane.
Correct answer: Move ahead or drop back, so you are not in its blind spot.
Why
Every vehicle has blind spots beside and behind it that the mirrors do not show, and large trucks have much bigger ones. A driver who cannot see you may change lanes into your car. The handbook advises a position between groups of cars, where you have room to move. When you pass, do it at a steady pace, and do not stay beside the other vehicle.
