Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
You and another car reach an intersection with no signs or signals at about the same time. The other car is on your right, and both of you plan to go straight. Who should yield?
A approaches from the west and B approaches from the south, on A’s right. There are no signs or signals, and both arrive together to go straight.
Correct answer: You, because you are on the left of the other car.
Why
The right-hand rule gives drivers a simple way to settle a tie at an uncontrolled intersection. One exception is a T-intersection: a driver on the road that ends yields to traffic on the through road. If the other driver yields to you, go with caution, and never force your way through.
