Passing target: 80% (24/30)
You drive in the right lane of an interstate and see that you have just passed the exit that you need. What should you do?
A is in the right through lane after passing the opening to an interstate exit. The exit branches to the right behind A; no reversing or turn path appears in the question.
Correct answer: Go on to the next exit, leave the interstate there, and use local roads to go back.
Why
A few extra miles cost only minutes, but a stop, a backing move or a turn across the median puts your car where interstate drivers do not expect it. The handbook calls an attempt to leave the highway after a missed exit a dangerous error. Plan your exit before the trip, and watch the exit signs so that you are in the correct lane early.
